The Pitt Alumni Association (PAA) hosted Chancellor Joan Gabel and more than 200 alumni and friends at a New York City event that highlighted the power of the 91porn��Ƶ.

Addressing a crowd of alumni that spanned generations, Gabel touted Pitt’s strengths in research, growing enrollment and innovative programs that are reducing student debt. She also called on those alumni to help spread the word that Pitt’s performance far outpaces its reputation.

While Pitt ranks among the top 50 global universities and is in the top 10 for National Institutes of Health funding, it’s how the alumni tell their personal stories and live their lives that truly raises the standing of the University, Gabel said. She encouraged graduates to take every opportunity to “Hail to Pitt” loudly and proudly.

It’s a sentiment that resonated with Milan Chandy (CBA ’22), who works as a trader at J.P. Morgan in Manhattan and attended the event.

“I will always be grateful to Pitt and constantly look for ways to give back,” says Chandy. “The number of Pitt alumni on Wall Street continues to grow, and that means more opportunities for recent graduates.”

For its part, the PAA will continue to boost the University’s reputation through regional and inter91porn��Ƶal events and virtual and in-person networking opportunities like this one.

Andy Rhodes (SCI ’87), who serves on the School of Computing and Information’s Board of Visitors, was pleased the New York City event offered the opportunity to meet Gabel.

“It was wonderful to hear her vision for the University and to know that Pitt has improved by leaps and bounds from when I was on the Johnstown and Pittsburgh campuses and will continue to do so,” says Rhodes. “Pitt is on an amazing trajectory, and I’m proud to share that with others.”
